35 Trees Nominated to the Tree of the Year Contest

Ökotárs has been organizing the contest since 2010. Trees or groups of trees could be nominated that are, for some reason, particularly important for their community. The purpose of the competition is to draw attention to the importance and the role trees and nature play in our daily lives. In 2018, 35 entries were received during the nomination period from 21 March to 10 May.
