"... Strong civil society will only be reality if many work on it - offering their energy, time and money. There are many civil socity organizations in Hungary - small and big, rural and urban. In elderly homes, in schools, with legal assistance - we help many people in many ways. Still, according to surveys, only one in ten Hungarians contributes somehow to civic activities. Our task is to show to the other nine: we need you too! (...) Civic activists are working to make Hungary a better place - but we cannot do it alone. Society needs the civils - and civils need the society. Me, you, her, him, everyone! (...) Let's continue together - let's organize, participate, let our voice be heard, act together," said the director of Ökotárs at the demonstration in Budapest.
