In 2019, we continued our Community-Organizing-Leadership program with a larger and more enthusiastic community organizing team than ever before. In the first months of the year, the work of three community organizers active in a dozen of settlements in Nógrád county became coordinated in a network. As a result of this, a number of issues were opened up for joint action, for example, local community groups have successfully campaigned for local and regional authorities to request and transparently distribute winter heating fuel to the needy in the social firewood program. In May, strengthening citizens' willingness to vote and emphasizing the importance of conscious choice became the focus of the joint work. In summer, the breakdown of the life-threatening building which the Mátraverebély group camőpaigned for began, and by September the locals' dream park and playground was partially completed, too. In addition, networking among settlements in the Budapest agglomeration begun as well.
