Principles of Grant-giving

HEPF aims to support activities that have benefits to environment, local communities and the whole society as well as focus on sustainable development.

We prefer programs that:

• have a holistic approach to environmental problems
• use direct actions to achieve their aims
• strenghten NGO's membership, social acceptance, relationships with public
• improve cooperation of the NGO and other sectors of society (other NGOs, governmental, local governmental and business sector)
• encourage acceptance of „green” ideas and help to change people's attitude towards responsible thinking
• offer solutions to new challenges

HEPF doesn't support:

• political parties
• scientific researches and scholarships
• building parks in settlements
• organizing camps
• environmental educational programs related to educational institutes

SMALL GRANTS PROGRAM

Small Grant Program is for non-governmental organizations and local governments of small settlements. Proposals should be submitted on our Datasheet, according to Proposal Guidelines.

Applications for the Small Grant Program should be submitted in Hungarian.
